Beef Topping For Cooked Rice Recipe
- 1/2 lb Lean beef
- 1 x Onion
- 2 Tbsp. Oil
- 1 Tbsp. Soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1.
- Shred beef and onion.
- 2.
- Heat oil.
- Add in beef and stir-fry till it loses its redness.
- Then sprinkle with soy sauce.
- 3.
- Add in onion and salt; stir-fry another 2 min.
- 4.
- Transfer cooked rice to a serving dish; top with stir-fried beef mix and serve.
- VARIATION: For the onion, substitute any of the following vegetables, shredded: 1 green pepper, 1/2 lb.
- Chinese lettuce or possibly 1/2 c. preserved cabbage.
- (With the preserved cabbage, use less salt.)
