Orange Buttermilk Molded Salad (Gelatin)

  1. In a large saucepan, bring pineapple and syrup to a boil.
  2. Remove from heat; stir in gelatin.
  3. Cool to room temperature.
  4. Stir in the buttermilk.
  5. Fold in whipped topping and pecans.
  6. Pour into an 8-cup mold; chill 4 hours or overnight.
