Zingy VEGEMITE Scrolls
- 3 cups SR flour
- 60g butter
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons VEGEMITE
- 2 tablespoons sweet chilli sauce
- 2 cups grated KRAFT Tasty Cheese
- 2 spring onionsd, chopped
- PROCESS the flour and butter in a food processor until mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
- Add enough milk to form a soft dough.
- Knead gently on a lightly floured surface and then roll to form a 40cm x 25cm rectangle.
- SPREAD the VEGEMITE over the dough, drizzle with sweet chilli sauce then sprinkle over 3/4 of the cheese and the spring onions.
- Roll up along the long side to enclose the cheese.
- Cut 10 x 4cm pieces from the roll and place close together, cut side up on a greased baking tray.
- SPRINKLE with the remaining cheese and bake in a very hot 220C oven for 20-25 minutes or until cooked and golden.
