Mauder's Fudge
- 18 ounces semisweet chocolate
- 1 (14 ounce) caneagle brand sweetened condensed milk
- 1 12 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 pinch salt
- nuts, if desired
- Warm milk and salt in a sauce pan over low heat.
- Once milk is thinned and warm, add chocolate stir frequently until smooth.
- Fold in nuts.
- Add vanilla extract last, stir quickly, mixture will begin to harden.
- Spoon onto a cookie sheet covered with wax paper and allow to harden in the refrigerator for about 1 hour per inch of thickness.
