Country Two-Cheese Sandwich Grill
- 2 cups GREY POUPON Bistro Sauce
- 48 slices country white bread slices (1/2 inch thick)
- 24 slices fontina cheese, sliced (1 oz. each)
- 3 cups caramelized onions
- 1-1/2 qt. roasted red peppers, cut into strips
- 24 slices smoked Gouda cheese, sliced (1 oz. each)
- 1 cup butter, softened
- For each serving: Spread 2 tsp.
- bistro sauce onto each of 2 bread slices.
- Top 1 bread slice with 1 fontina cheese slice, 2 Tbsp.
- onions and 1/4 cup peppers; cover with 1 Gouda cheese slice and second bread slice.
- Spread 2 tsp.
- butter onto outside of sandwich, spreading 1 tsp.
- butter on each bread slice.
- Grill on medium heat 2 to 3 min.
- on each side or until cheeses are melted and sandwich is golden brown on both sides.
