Bacon Macaroni and Cheese

  1. Preheat the oven for 350 degrees F
  2. Cook macaroni as the package directs.
  3. Cook bacon in large saucepan.
  4. Remove bacon saving drippings in pan.
  5. Add flour to bacon drippings.
  6. Cook and stir until it browns a bit and is bubbling.
  7. Gradually stir in milk.
  8. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
  9. Cook and stir until it starts to thicken, about 3-5 minutes.
  10. Stir in the Parmesan and 1 cup of the Cheddar.
  11. Cook and stir until melted.
  12. Mix in bacon and macaroni.
  13. Pour into 1-1/2 qt.
  14. casserole dish and top with remaining Cheddar.
  15. Bake for 20 minutes.
