Spiced Ginseng Iced Tea

  1. In a large saucepan, combine the cold water with the cardamom pods, cloves, cinnamon sticks and star anise and bring to a boil.
  2. Remove from the heat and add the tea bags.
  3. Let steep for 5 minutes.
  4. Remove the tea bags and stir in the honey until it is dissolved.
  5. Strain the tea into a pitcher and let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled.
  6. Serve in tall glasses over ice.
