Healthier Than the Boxed Mix Cheeseburger Macaroni
- 1 whole Onion, Chopped
- 1 pound Lean Ground Turkey
- 2 cups Water
- 1- 1/4 cup Tomato Sauce
- 1/2 teaspoons Mustard Powder
- 1/2 teaspoons Onion Powder
- 1/4 teaspoons Garlic Powder
- 1/2 pounds Elbow Shaped Gluten-free Brown Rice Pasta
- 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese (may Use Less, Depening On Tastes)
- Add the chopped onion and ground turkey into a large skillet.
- Cook over medium-high heat until the turkey is browned, breaking it into small bits as it cooks.
- Stir in the water, tomato sauce, mustard powder, onion powder and garlic powder.
- When combined, stir in the pasta and bring to a boil.
- Cover the skillet, reduce heat to medium/low and simmer for 15 minutes or until pasta is done.
- Turn off the heat and stir in the cheese.
- Serve with steamed vegetables or a salad.
