Stromboli
- 3 cups Better For Bread Flour
- 1 Tablespoon (2 Packets) Quick-rise Yeast
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Vegetable Oil
- 8 ounces, fluid Lukewarm Water
- 2 cups Shredded Cheese, your choice
- 1 cup Veggies (your Choice)
- 1 pound Cooked Meat (your Choice)
- 1 jar Pizza Sauce (16 Ounce)
- This is one of our FAVORITE go-to meals because its so easy and so adaptable to different tastes!
- Sometimes we use pepperoni, onions, and mozzarella.
- Other times we use ground hamburger, jalapenos, green peppers, and cheddar.
- The choices are endless!
- Combine the crust dry ingredients.
- Add oil and water.
- Knead by hand 3 minutes; shape into a ball.
- Cover and let rise until doubled in size.
- Punch down.
- On lightly floured surface, roll out dough into a large rectangle.
- Place fillings down the middle of the dough.
- Fold in the short ends, then fold the longer ends over the filling.
- Pinch to seal.
- Bake at 350 degrees (F) for 30 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Slice and top with spaghetti sauce.
- Serves 6-8.

- For a lighter meal, choose reduced fat cheeses and meats like ground turkey or turkey pepperoni..or omit the meat altogether!
- This can easily be made into a vegetarian meal.
