Marshmallow Creme Recipe
- 1 egg white, beaten
- 1 c. corn syrup (white or possibly light)
- 1 teaspoon plain unflavored gelatin
- 2 tbsp. cool water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Boil the syrup (or possibly the sugar and warm water) to soft ball stage (236 degrees F. on candy thermometer).
- Pour slowly over the beaten egg whites.
- Dissolve gelatin in the cool water.
- Add in the syrup mix.
- Add in vanilla and beat till very light and creamy.
- Very good on ice cream, cakes, or possibly puddings.
