Candied Apples
- 3 small apples
- 3 pumpkin seeds
- 40 ml Water
- 125 grams Sugar
- 3 Bamboo skewers
- Cut off the pointed end of the skewers.
- Thoroughly rinse the apples, and allow to dry.
- Pierce the apple tops with the skewers.
- Combine the water and sugar in a small saucepan, then heat for 8-10 minutes over low heat while stirring.
- It's ready once it comes to a rolling boil with large bubbles.
- Remove from heat, wait for the bubbles to settle, then quickly coat the apples in the caramel.
- Stick on the pumpkin seed before the caramel hardens.
- They're done in a few minutes, after the caramel hardens.
