Hurricane Popcorn

  1. In a large pot, combine the canola oil and popcorn kernels.
  2. Cook over moderate heat, shaking the pan, until the popcorn is popped, about 3 minutes.
  3. Remove from the heat.
  4. Stir the butter, furikake and chile powder into the popcorn.
  5. Transfer to a large bowl, top with wasabi peas and serve.
