Snow Ghost Cocoa Cream Pie Recipe
- 1 (9") baked pie shell or possibly crumb crust
- 1/2 c. cocoa
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 c. lowfat milk
- 3 tbsp. butter
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- Whipped cream
- Combine cocoa, sugar, salt and cornstarch in a medium saucepan.
- Gradually blend lowfat milk into dry ingredients, stirring till smooth.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring till filling boils; boil 1 minute.
- Remove from heat; blend in butter and vanilla.
- Pour into pie crust.
- Carefully press plastic wrap directly onto pie filling.
- Cold; refrigerate3 to 4 hrs.
- Garnish with whipped cream.
