Breakfast Casserole
- 1 (8 count) pkg. Pillsbury crescent rolls
- 1 lb. sausage or ham
- 1 (8 count) pkg. frozen hash browns
- 1 pkg. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese (2 c.)
- 1 pkg. shredded Velveeta cheese (1 c.)
- 6 eggs
- 1/2 c. milk
- salt and pepper
- Crumble and fry sausage or ham.
- Drain well on paper towels. Beat eggs in a small bowl and add milk.
- Blend.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Put crescent rolls in a 9 x 12-inch pan (use nonstick spray).
- Layer sausage over crescent rolls.
- Place hash browns over sausage.
- Put Cheddar and Velveeta cheese over hash browns.
- Pour egg mixture evenly over cheese.
- Bake for 35 to 40 minutes.
- Cheese will be golden.
- Egg mixture will be cooked up. If it is runny, then longer.
