chicken karahi fry
- 5 lb small pieces cut chicken breast
- 6 large finely chopped tomatoes
- 1 tbsp garlic crushed
- 1 tbsp ginger crushed
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp cumin seeds powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 cup oil
- 3 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp salt
- place the chicken and half a cup oil in the saucepan stir and fry about 5 minutes .
- add crushed ginger and garlic stir about 5 minutes .
- add all spices and stirring occasionally.
- heat to medium low .
- in another saucepan heat oil and add finely chopped tomatoes stir and fry about 5 to 7 minutes until half the juice of tomatoes has dried .
- add the chicken and mix ,cover and cook about 5 minutes .
