Savory Crock Pot Mushroom Chicken
- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into 1-inch bite sized pieces
- 1 (8 ounce) package white mushrooms
- 1 (8 ounce) package portabella mushrooms
- 12 cup butter
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can Campbell's Cream of Mushroom Soup
- 0.5 (4 ounce) package cream cheese
- 1 (2/3 ounce) package dried Italian salad dressing mix
- 12 cup white wine
- white rice (cooked according to directions)
- 1.
- Cut chicken and place in crock pot.
- 2.
- Slice mushrooms and place in crockpot over chicken.
- 3.
- Melt butter in a medium saucepan.
- 4.
- Stir in Italian seasoning mix, can of soup, cream cheese and wine.
- Whisk until completely smooth.
- 5.
- Pour mixture over the chicken and mushrooms.
- Stir to make sure chicken and mushrooms are completely covered in sauce.
- 6.
- Cook on low in crock pot for 4-5 hours.
- 7.
- Pour over prepared rice.
- Serve with a side salad and French bread, if desired.
