Moms Peanut Butter Cookies
- 14 cup Crisco
- 14 cup butter
- 12 cup peanut butter
- 12 cup sugar
- 12 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 1 egg
- 1 14 cups flour
- 12 teaspoon baking powder
- 34 teaspoon baking soda
- 14 teaspoon salt
- In a large bowl, thoroughly mix the first 5 ingredients with a beater.
- Set aside.
- In another large bowl mix the remaining dry ingredients.
- Slowly add dry mixture to wet mixture and stir until mixed in well.
- Chill dough for atleast 1/2 hour.
- Roll into balls the size of large walnuts and place 3 inches a part on a lightly greased cookie sheet.
- Press with the tines of fork dipped in flour in a criss cross pattern on the balls.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
- Bake at 350 degrees until only set but not hard.
