The Love Unit

  1. In a cocktail shaker gently muddle two bell pepper rings and two basil leaves.
  2. Add remaining ingredients.
  3. Fill shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 6 seconds.
  4. Pour drink through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a chilled cocktail glass.
  5. Place second basil leaf on palm of one hand and slap it with the other.
  6. Float it atop drink.
  7. Balance other bell pepper ring on rim of glass.
