My Grandmother's Sauteed Cod
- 2 pieces Cod
- 1 dash Salt and pepper
- 1 Cake flour
- 5 grams Butter for sauteing the cod
- 2 tsp Vegetable oil
- 2 tsp Soy sauce
- 1 tsp Sake
- 1 tbsp Mirin
- 5 grams Butter for the sauce
- Salt and pepper the cod (using plenty of salt and pepper will give it a better flavor).
- After that, dredge the cod with cake flour.
- Mix the ingredients.
- Add the butter for sauteing and the vegetable oil to a frying pan and saute the cod.
- When both sides are browned, remove the cod from the pan.
- To the frying pan from Step 4, add the butter for the sauce and the ingredients and bring to a boil.
- When the sauce comes to a boil, add the cod and give it a good coating.
