My Grandmother's Sauteed Cod

  1. Salt and pepper the cod (using plenty of salt and pepper will give it a better flavor).
  2. After that, dredge the cod with cake flour.
  3. Mix the ingredients.
  4. Add the butter for sauteing and the vegetable oil to a frying pan and saute the cod.
  5. When both sides are browned, remove the cod from the pan.
  6. To the frying pan from Step 4, add the butter for the sauce and the ingredients and bring to a boil.
  7. When the sauce comes to a boil, add the cod and give it a good coating.
