Maple Syrup Acorn Squash

  1. Cut the squash into 1/8ths with a serrated knife.

  4. Microwave butter to soften.
  5. Combine butter, sugar, and maple syrup in a small mixing bowl, stir until the texture is consistant.
  6. Place the squash on a pan with a raised edge or a casserole dish.

  8. Spoon the mixture onto the squash.
  9. Cook at 400 F for 45 minutes to an hour.
