Maple Syrup Acorn Squash
- 1 acorn squash
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 tablespoons brown sugar
- 4 tablespoons maple syrup
- salt and pepper
- Cut the squash into 1/8ths with a serrated knife.
- (Having just tried horizontally, I recommend vertically.

- Microwave butter to soften.
- Combine butter, sugar, and maple syrup in a small mixing bowl, stir until the texture is consistant.
- Place the squash on a pan with a raised edge or a casserole dish.

- Spoon the mixture onto the squash.
- Cook at 400 F for 45 minutes to an hour.
