Cincinnati Chili-Cheese Dip

  1. Spread softened cream cheese evenly on bottom of an 8x8-inch baking pan.
  2. Sprinkle with finely diced onions.
  3. Layer heated chili over the onions and cream cheese.
  4. Top evenly with the cheddar.
  5. Heat in 350F oven for 10 minutes.
  6. Let stand 5-10 minutes before serving.
  7. Serve with corn chips or tortilla chips for dipping, and a bottle of cayenne pepper hot sauce (such as Frank's or Crystal) on the side.
