Canadian Flag Cake Recipe

  1. Line bottom of 13x9 inch baking dish with lb.
  2. cake slices.
  3. Dissolve jelly pwdr in boiling water; add in ice cubes till slightly thickened about 3 to 5 min.
  4. Remove any unmelted ice cubes.
  5. Stir in 2 c. sliced strawberries.
  6. Pour over cake slices.
  7. Spread whipping topping on top of jelly mix.
  8. Refrigeratefor 2 hrs.
  9. Garnish with remaining 1 c. sliced strawberries to resemble Canadian flag.
  10. Tip: Cut out pattern of maple leaf.
  11. Place in center of cake, trace leaf pattern using a toothpick.
  12. Place a strawberry tip in each point and arrange strawberries in leaf shape.
  13. Yield: 15 serving
