Refreshing Chinese-Style Eggplants

  1. Cut the eggplants in half lengthwise.
  2. Cut 2-3 diagonal notches into the skin.
  3. Cut a 1 cm notch into the okra.
  4. Using the oil for deep-frying, fry the eggplants starting from the skin side until slightly browned.
  5. Also deep-fry the okra.
  6. Dish up the okra and eggplants.
  7. Serve with the sauce mixture that you've mixed together.
