Liz's Meat Loaf Recipe
- 2 1/2 lbs. grnd beef
- 1 med. onion
- Ketchup
- Gulden's mustard
- 1 egg
- Heinz 57 sauce
- Garlic pwdr
- Meat tenderizer
- Bread crumbs
- 15 ounce. Hunt's tomato sauce
- Mix grnd beef, onion (diced), ketchup (2 shakes), 1 tsp.
- Gulden's mustard, 2 shakes of Heinz 57 sauce, garlic pwdr and meat tenderizer.
- Add in a dash of bread crumbs and mix well.
- Knead and place in loaf pan.
- Pour tomato sauce over top of the meat loaf and sprinkle with garlic pwdr and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake in 350 degree preheated oven for 1 1/2 hrs.
- Peel and parboil some new potatoes.
- Drain the water.
- When meat is half done take potatoes and arrange them in the pan with the meat loaf.
- Spoon some of the sauce in the pan over the potatoes.
- Serve with peas, carrots and biscuits.
