Tuscan Pasta and Cheese

  1. Cook and drain noodles according to package directions.
  2. Meanwhile, cook Italian sausage and drain fat.
  3. Add drained noodles, croutons, mozzarella cheese, and cream cheese to cooked sausage and mix well.
  4. Transfer to an ovenproof casserole dish.
  5. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter.
  6. Stir in flour and seasonings until will blended and bubbly.
  7. Add milk all at once.
  8. Bring to a low boil and stir until slightly thickened.
  9. Pour sauce evenly over noodle mixture.
  10. Cover and bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.
  11. Arrange sliced tomato on top of noodle mixture and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  12. Bake, uncovered, for an additional 5-10 minutes.
