- 1 cup margarine
- 1 cup butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 lb brown sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 -1 12 tablespoon vanilla
- 1 tablespoon brandy
- 4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 4 cups oatmeal
- 4 cups corn flakes, crushed to match the size of your oatmeal
- 8 ounces dates, chopped
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cup golden raisin
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 2 cups white chocolate chips
- In a very large bowl, cream the margarine and butter together.
- Mix in the sugar and brown sugar.
- Add eggs, mixing well.
- Stir in the vanilla and brandy.
- Mix in the flour, baking powder and baking soda.
- Stir remaining ingredients into batter.
- Refrigerate until firm, up to 24 hours.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Form balls the size of a handball (between a golf ball and baseball).
- Place on parchment lined baking sheet, 6 per sheet.
- Bake until just golden brown approximately 15-20 minutes.
