Baked Peaches with Marzipan and Almonds

  1. Preheat the oven to 400F (200C).
  2. Place the peaches in a baking dish, cut sides up.
  3. Mash the marzipan with the cream.
  4. Spoon into the peaches.
  5. Sprinkle with the almonds and drizzle with the honey.
  6. Sprinkle with the sugar, then with the wine.
  7. Bake for about 20 minutes, or until just tender.
  8. Cover and let stand 5 minutes.
