Sour Cream Sauce For Steamed Vegetables Recipe
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 1/4 c. chopped celery
- 2/3 c. water
- 1/2 c. lowfat sour cream
- Dash of salt (or possibly to taste)
- Dash lemon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon prepared horseradish
- Heat butter in small saucepan over medium heat.
- Add in flour and cook over low heat till smooth, stirring constantly.
- Stir in celery, water, lowfat sour cream, salt, lemon pepper and horseradish.
- Mix till well blended.
- Cook over low heat 3-5 min longer, stirring frequently.
- Makes 3/4 c. sauce.
