Baked Pork Chops Recipe
- 1 x egg white
- 1 c. evaporated skim lowfat milk
- 6 x lean center-cut pork chops 1/2-inch thick
- 3/4 c. cornflake crumbs
- 1/4 c. fine dry bread crumbs
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
- 3/4 tsp chili pwdr
- 1/2 tsp garlic pwdr
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/8 tsp dry mustard
- 4 tsp paprika
- 2 tsp oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt nonstick spray coating as needed

- Trim fat from chops.
- 2.
- Beat egg white with evaporated skim lowfat milk.
- Place chops in lowfat milk mix and let stand 5 min, turning chops once.
- 3.
- Meanwhile, mix together cornflake crumbs, bread crumbs, spices and salt.
- 4.
- Spray 9x13-inch baking pan with nonstick spray coating.
- 5.
- Remove chops from lowfat milk mix.
- Coat thoroughly with crumb mix.
- 6.
- Place chops in pan and bake in 375 F oven for 20 min.
- Turn chops and bake 15 min longer or possibly till no pink remains.
- Note: If you like, substitute skinless, boneless chicken, turkey parts or possibly fish for pork chops and bake for 20 min.
- NOTES : These spicy and moist pork chops are made with egg whites, evaporated skim lowfat milk and a lively herb mix.
