Krunch N Munch
- 12 cups popped popcorn
- 4 cups Cheerios toasted oat cereal
- 4 cups rice or 4 cups Corn Chex
- 2 cups dry roasted peanuts
- 1 cup margarine (not butter)
- 34 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 12 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- Mix dry ingredients and put in 2 large roasting pans.
- Melt margarine over medium heat.
- Add corn syrup and brown sugar.
- Bring to a rolling boil for 6 minutes.
- You must boil for 6 minutes or syrup will not be the right consistency.
- Remove from heat; add baking soda and vanilla.
- Mixture will foam.
- Pour over dry mix.
- Place both pans in 250 degree oven for 1 hour stirring every 15 minutes.
- Let cool on waxed paper.
