Shepherd's Pie
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 12 cup water
- 14 cup oatmeal
- salt, to taste
- 34 cup chopped onion
- 2 -3 cups mashed potatoes
- 1 teaspoon beef bouillon granules
- In skillet, brown ground beef, drain fat.
- Add onions and cook until tender.
- Add water, bouillon mix, salt and oatmeal.
- Simmer together 10 minutes.
- Layer meat in bottom of casserole or baking dish.
- Top with mashed potatoes, brush with melted butter.
- Sprinkle with paprika.
- Bake at 325F for 30 minutes.
- Serve with gravy.
