Summer Borscht
- 12 lb ham, with bone
- 1 cup chopped green onion top
- 13 cup dill leaves
- 3 -4 medium potatoes, diced
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 12 cup sweet cream
- 2 cups sour buttermilk
- Mix together soup stock, vegetables and sour buttermilk.
- Boil till tender.
- Add cream and simmer 15 to 20 minutes.
- Serve hot.
