Pretzel Burger Bowl

  1. Cut thin slice off top of each bun; hollow out inside, leaving 1/4-inch-thick shell.
  2. Reserve tops for later use.
  3. Discard removed bread or reserve for another use.
  4. Spread 1 Tbsp.
  5. (15 mL) mustard onto inside of each bun.
  6. Dressing: Mix ingredients until blended.
  7. For each serving: Grill 1 beef patty to medium (160 degrees F), or desired doneness.
  8. Top with 1 cheese slice; grill until melted.
  9. Cut into 1/2-inch pieces.
  10. Toss 1 cup (250 mL) lettuce with 2 Tbsp.
  11. (30 mL) tomatoes; 1 Tbsp.
  12. (15 mL) each onions, pickles and bacon; 1 cut-up cheeseburger; and 2-1/2 Tbsp.
  13. (37 mL) Dressing.
  14. Spoon into bun; drizzle with 1 tsp.
  15. (5 mL) barbecue sauce.
  16. Top with 1 fried egg.
  17. Serve with top of bun on the side.
