Oriental Red Deer Stir-Fry

  1. Cut green onions into 1-inch pieces.
  2. Combine broth, cornstarch and soy sauce in a small bowl: mix until cornstarch dissolves.
  3. Set aside.
  4. Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium high heat.
  5. Add Steak and garlic.
  6. Stir-fry for 3 minutes or until browned.
  7. Remove with slotted spoon: keep warm.
  8. Add broccoli, water chestnuts, green onions and mushrooms to skillet.
  9. Stir-fry for about 3 minutes.
  10. Remove steak to skillet.
  11. Add snow peas.
  12. Add broth mixture to skillet.
  13. Cook, stirring continually, for 3 minutes or until thickened.
  14. Serves 6, with side of fried rice.
