- 1/3 c. butter
- 2 c. pastry flour, sifted
- 1 teaspoon salt

- Make crust by mixing shortening and butter with 2 knives, sifting in flour and salt; rolling dough into 9 inch pie plate.
- Set aside for 20-25 min.

- Blend potatoes with other filling ingredients.
- Pour filling into pie shell.
- Bake 30 min in 400 degree oven.
- Let pie set 20 min before slicing.
