Chicken Sausage and Carmelized Onion Pizza
- 2 whole Links Of Chicken Sausage (I Used The Kind With Roasted Red Peppers), Sliced Very Thinly. You Could Slice It Into Thin Rounds But I Sliced It Lengthwise So The Strips Were Long.
- 1 whole Purple Onion (a Small One) Thinly Sliced
- 1/4 cups Pizza Or Marinara Sauce
- 1 whole Pre Made Pizza Crust
- 8 ounces, weight Ball Of Fresh Mozzarella, Cut Into Thin Slices
- Put your pizza stone or whatever you are putting your pizza on in the oven.
- Turn the oven to 450 degrees F. Fry or grill up your thinly sliced sausage.
- Set aside.
- Fry up your thinly sliced onion (I used a cast iron pan with a little butter) until they are soft and caramelizing.
- Spread the pizza or marinara sauce over the pre-made crust.
- Top with the caramelized onion.
- Top with the sausage.
- Lay the mozzarella slices all over the pizza.
- Slide onto the hot pizza pan which has already been heating in your oven.
- Cook for about 15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and browning.
