Alaska Halibut Saute Recipe

  1. Remove skin and bones from halibut; cut into 1-inch cubes.
  2. Season halibut with salt and pepper.
  3. Saute/fry in 2 Tbsp.
  4. oil till barely cooked; remove halibut from skillet.
  5. Saute/fry vegetables in remaining oil till crisp-tender.
  6. Return halibut to skillet.
  7. Add in 1/4 tsp.
  8. salt and ginger.
  9. Combine chicken broth, cornstarch and lemon peel; add in to fish mix.
  10. Cook and stir till thickened and halibut flakes when tested with a fork.
  11. This recipe yields 4 servings.
