Strawberry Sherbet

  1. Place sugar, cinnamon and strawberries in food processor.
  2. Puree.
  3. (It may be necessary to do this step in batches.
  4. ).
  5. Add orange juice and milk and PULSE a few times to blend well.
  6. Transfer mixture to a covered container and chill.
  7. Best to chill at least 3 hours or overnight.
  8. Freeze mixture according to instructions for your particular ice cream maker.
  9. Yield is about 6 cups.
  10. Can garnish ice cream with fresh mint leaves or verbena, if desired.
