Flower-Shaped Chinese Chive Dumplings

  1. Mince the vegetables.
  2. Combine the ingredients, and place a tablespoon of the mixture in the center of the gyoza wrapper.
  3. Leaving the center opened, pleat the edges by folding them to the side (to form the flower petals).
  4. Fry both sides in sesame oil, then, with the "petal" side up, pour water into the frying pan, cover with a lid, then steam on low heat.
  5. When the liquid is cooked out, remove the lid, allow the bottoms to brown to a crisp, then serve!
