Mediterranean Topping
- 2-1/2 cups onions, chopped
- 1-1/2 Tbsp. garlic, minced
- 2/3 cup olive oil
- 2-1/2 qt. canned plum tomatoes, drained, chopped
- 2-1/2 cups pitted Kalamata olives, finely chopped
- 1-1/4 cups A.1. Original Sauce
- 2/3 cup capers, drained, rinsed
- 2/3 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 cup GREY POUPON Classic Dijon Mustard
- 2-1/2 tsp. dried basil leaves
- Saute onions and garlic in hot oil in large saucepan on high heat 3 to 4 min.
- or until onions are tender.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in remaining ingredients.
- Serve on toasted crostini as appetizers, or spooned over grilled fish, steaks, burgers, chicken or pork.
