Double Crunch Cookies Recipe

  1. Sift together flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.
  2. Combine shortening and sugars.
  3. Beat till light and creamy.
  4. Blend in 1 egg and 1/2 tsp.
  5. vanilla.
  6. Stir in flour mix.
  7. Add in cornflakes, oatmeal and coconut.
  8. Set aside 1/3 of dough.
  9. Shape remaining dough into tsp.
  10. size balls and place on greased cookie sheet.
  11. Flatten with floured glass.
  12. Bake at 350 degrees for 9 min.
  13. Shape rest of dough 3/4 tsp.
  14. size balls.
  15. Bake at 350 degrees for 7 min.
  16. Heat over warm water - chips, water and sugar.
  17. Blend in cream cheese and beat till smooth.
  18. Cold and spread over large cookie and top with small cookie.
