Praline Chocolate Dessert

  1. In a small bowl, combine cookie crumbs and butter.
  2. Press onto the bottom of a greased 9-in.
  3. springform pan.
  4. Place on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
  6. Cool on a wire rack.
  7. Sprinkle with pecans.
  8. In a large saucepan over medium heat, bring butter and brown sugar to a boil, stirring constantly.
  9. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
  10. Remove from the heat; stir in vanilla.
  11. Pour over pecans.
  12. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours or until set.
  13. In a large mixing bowl, beat filling ingredients until smooth.
  14. Spread over praline layer.
  15. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours or until set.
  16. For ganache, in a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips with cream; stir until smooth.
  17. Cool slightly; spread over filling.
  18. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours or until set.
  19. Carefully run a knife around edge of pan to loosen; remove sides of pan.
  20. Garnish with pecan halves.
  21. Refrigerate leftovers.
