Fresh Breakfast Sausage

  1. In small bowl, mix pork, sage, thyme, syrup, nutmeg, 1/2 t salt and 1/4 t pepper.
  2. Divide into 4 equal pieces and form patties.
  3. In medium skillet, heat oil over medium-high.
  4. Add patties and cook until browned, about 1 minute.
  5. Reduce heat to medium and flip patties.
  6. Cover and cook til cooked through, 5-8 minutes.
