Stuffed Turkey & Swiss Pita Pockets
- 6 whole Pita Pockets, With Top Trimmed Off
- 6 slices Swiss Cheese
- 1 package White Mushrooms, Sliced
- 1 stick Butter Or Margarine
- 1/2 pounds Turkey Deli Cuts
- First, trim the top 1/4 inch off of your pita pockets.
- This will allow you to begin stuffing.
- Then push a piece of Swiss into each pocket until it lies flat.
- Then add a palmful of sliced white mushrooms.
- Add a few pats of butter on top of the mushrooms.
- Then toss in a palmful of the turkey deli cuts.
- Lie on a cookie sheet and bake until cheese is melted at 350 degrees.
- This should only take about 15 minutes.
- I serve these with chips or salad.
- And, we always add mayo, ranch, or salsa to ours as condiments.
