Crispy Marshmallow Spiders for Halloween

  1. Microwave butter in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 45 sec.
  2. or until melted.
  3. Add marshmallows; stir to evenly coat.
  4. Microwave 1-1/2 min.
  5. or until marshmallows are completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring after 45 sec.
  6. Add cereal; mix well.
  7. Roll into 24 balls.
  8. Place on waxed paper-covered baking sheet.
  9. Use tip of paring knife to poke 4 shallow holes in 2 sides of each ball.
  10. Insert 8 licorice pieces in holes in each ball for the spider's legs.
  11. Drizzle chocolate over spiders.
  12. Add candies for the eyes, securing to spiders with frosting.
  13. Let stand until chocolate is firm.
