Hearty Sauteed Pork with Sauce

  1. Sprinkle the pork with sake, rub it in, and let sit for a while in the fridge.
  2. Mix together.
  3. When adding in the vegetables, cut into approximate sizes, saute in a pan, season with salt and pepper (not listed), and arrange onto a plate.
  4. Coat the meat from Step 1 in katakuriko (it's easier if you coat if you put the meat and katakuriko in a plastic bag.)
  5. Heat a pan over a strong medium heat, add vegetable oil, and cook the meat from step 3 through on both sides until golden brown.
  6. After the meat has cooked through, pour in the mixture, place on top of the vegetables from step 2, and sprinkle sesame seeds.
  7. This time I used cabbage, onions, carrots, and bean sprouts.
  8. I also added eggs, which I love.
  9. I usually make this with generis chopped pork, but pork neck was on sale so I used that instead .
  10. If you are using a thicker meat, adjust the cooking time.

pork meat, sake, katakuriko, vegetable oil, sauce, worcestershire sauce, white sesame seeds, favorite vegetables
