Hearty Sauteed Pork with Sauce
- 150 grams Pork meat (chopped pork etc.)
- 1/2 tbsp Sake
- 1 and 1/2 tablespoon Katakuriko
- 1 Vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp Japanese Worcestershire-style sauce
- 2 tbsp Japanese Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 White sesame seeds
- 1 Your favorite vegetables
- Sprinkle the pork with sake, rub it in, and let sit for a while in the fridge.
- Mix together.
- When adding in the vegetables, cut into approximate sizes, saute in a pan, season with salt and pepper (not listed), and arrange onto a plate.
- Coat the meat from Step 1 in katakuriko (it's easier if you coat if you put the meat and katakuriko in a plastic bag.)
- Heat a pan over a strong medium heat, add vegetable oil, and cook the meat from step 3 through on both sides until golden brown.
- After the meat has cooked through, pour in the mixture, place on top of the vegetables from step 2, and sprinkle sesame seeds.
- This time I used cabbage, onions, carrots, and bean sprouts.
- I also added eggs, which I love.
- I usually make this with generis chopped pork, but pork neck was on sale so I used that instead .
- If you are using a thicker meat, adjust the cooking time.
