Italian Chops And Rice

  1. Season chops with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Brown on both sides in oil in a large ovenproof skillet.
  3. Remove chops and set aside.
  4. Add onion and green pepper and saute until tender-crisp. Stir in tomatoes, broth, seasonings and rice.
  5. Bring to a boil. Arrange chops on top.
  6. Cover.
  7. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
  8. Fluff rice with fork.
  9. Makes 6 servings with 409 calories per serving.
