Spicy Stir-Fried Pork and Bok Choi

  1. In a small bowl mix the shoyu, mirin, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Set aside.
  3. Heat the oil in a wok on high heat.
  4. Stir-fry the pork strips for 2 minutes.
  5. Add the carrots and bok choi and stir-fry another 2 - 3 minutes.
  6. Pour the shoyu mixture on top and stir-fry another minute.
  7. In a small cup, mix the cold water with the cornstarch and pour mixture into the wok.
  8. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes, then remove from heat.
  9. Serve over cooked noodles.
  10. I recommend soba noodles or whole-wheat fettucine.
