Glazed Roast Chicken With Lemon Potatoes
- 6 12 tablespoons honey
- 5 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 piece ginger
- 6 garlic cloves
- 5 tablespoons rice wine
- 1 12 kg chicken
- 1 kg potato
- 2 lemons
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 200 g broccoli
- Preheat the oven to gas 6, 200C, fan 180C Combine the honey, soy, ginger, garlic and rice wine in a pin.
- Boil for 5 minutes until thick and sticky.
- Put the chicken in a shallow baking tin and brush with half the glaze.
- Roast for 50 minutes, then coat with the remaining glaze and return to the oven for 30 minutes until cooked through and the juices run clear.
- In a roasting tin, toss the potatoes with lemon slices, oil, and seasoning.
- Put in the oven for the last 30 minutes of the cooking time.
- Boil the broccoli for 3 minutes.
- Serve with chicken and potatoes.
