2 Types of Tuille from Leftover Eggwhites
- 1 Egg white
- 25 grams Granulated sugar
- 15 grams Cake flour
- 10 grams Butter
- 1 Sliced almonds
- 1 White sesame seeds
- 1 Black sesame seeds
- 1 Parchment paper
- Whip the sugar and egg white in a bowl.
- Add the cake flour and mix.
- Put the butter in a heat-proof dish, and microwave for about 30 seconds at 600 W until melted.
- Add this to Step 1 and mix.
- (No need to whip.)
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Use about 1/2 tablespoon of batter from Step 2 for each tuille.
- Spread on the parchment paper with the back of a spoon.
- When there is about half of the batter left, add the white and black sesame seeds.
- Spread onto the baking tray with the back of a spoon.
- Top the batter without sesame seeds with roughly chopped sliced almonds.
- Preheat the oven to 170C and bake Step 5 for about 12 minutes.
- Keep an eye on them so that they do not burn.
